BLOOD DONATION

Why?
|

|
|
Terror attacks in Mumbai on the 26th November 2008 left hundreds in need of blood.
It was an act which left an indelible mark on each one of us.
|
|
|
|
The situation demanded urgency and saw 150 people come together to donate blood
which was to be sent to Mumbai. People of all ages, comprising mainly youth, in
between the age groups 18-25 donated blood and stood out to help society.

What?
|
|
|
|
This camp, organized by WAYE and Ruby Hall, saw people from
all sections of the society come together to mark a change to do something for the
country, the society and humanity. Many people thanked WAYE
for doing a splendid job in taking an initiative to come forward in the country’s
gravest times of need. As the young donors shared their experiences, the general
emotion was that of national spirit and pride.
